Vegetable Cutlet

I sometimes wonder where the time went by when I see/hear Jordan. He is growing up fast and I wish I could just stop time from flying away. I hardly have any time for myself after having taken him to the park or library or other activities and the household chores. So I had been missing from the blogging world for a while now, untill last week and I loved the break. I hope to update it frequently everytime I return from a break, but I fail. Lazy me, I say. Anyways, this time I hope to update frequently.

Myself and Big J used to speak in english, when we wanted to talk something that we didn't want Lil J to hear. Now the stage has come that Lil J has started to pick up on english(overhearing our conversation and grasping it). So if you come visit us, you will see both of us spelling the words out so that Jordan can't get it. I don't see those days far when he will pick the spellings as well.

Bruschetta

Who loves to munch the juicy and cute little grape tomatoes ? I do. And if it is to be combined with some roasted garlic and olive oil, to top it on toasted Baguette slices... hmm gets even more lovely.

I love making it. Ofcourse, because of the ease of making it. At the same time, I love the smell of the garlic roasted in olive oil. Ohh, that aroma itself is so mouth watering.

Meat Balls (Asian Style)

had never followed the game, football, untill Super Bowl 2012. Thats when my husband explained it to me to the best of his knowledge. Since then, it had seemed to be interesting to me. We used to go to the High School that is next to our apartment, whenever they would host the game. And one such visit helped us understand the game even better. Grandfather of one of the players, graciously volunteered to explain the game to us, when he saw us clueless, at times :).

When the hype was on for the Super Bowl this year, it somehow hit me this time. May be because, now that I know the basics, I can bother to sit down to watch the game. Now....we needed some snacks for the big game. Though chicken wings/ chicken thighs is the best fit for this occasion, I wanted to try the meat ball recipe that I had come across recently. As a contingency factor, we did buy some chicken wings too just to leave us with something to munch on if the meat balls go wrong :).
