Remember the homemade Yogurt that I had posted a week back. Well we use the same yogurt to top it on this homemade granola to make it our breakfast or tea time snack. They are super delicious and addictive. And what is wrong in getting addicted to such a super delicious, healthy and easy to make granola.
Dropping all the ingredients in a bowl and tossing it is all it takes from our end. Rest the oven takes care off, i.e. to make it crunchy.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
- 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2-3 tbsp of coconut oil
- 3/4 cup of roughly chopped pecans
- 3/4 cup dried cranberries
- 3/4 cup raisins
Method
- Preheat the oven to 325 F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and keep it aside.
- In a large bowl, take ingredients 2-7. Whisk it well.
- Add oats and nuts to the wet mixture and fold it in.
- Remove it onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 45 minutes. Rotate the baking sheet half way through baking.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let it cool for another hour.
- Crumble the granola apart and mix in the dried cranberries and raisins and give it a mix.
- Once completely cooled, store it in an airtight container. It stays good fro about 2-3 weeks.
Tips
- You could substitute honey with maple syrup or agave nectar.
- Feel free to add nuts and dried fruits of your choice.
I totally love homemade granola... it tastes so much better and comes out so much cheaper than those crappy on-the-shelf ones... Totally in love with the clicks... and just like you, I like mine too with yogurt... :)
