Chocolate brownie brings in uncontrolled water flow in my mouth. I love them so much. Even though I love it, at times I have left them half eaten because they taste too sweet. So I have always wanted a recipe that would give me exactly the same amount of sweetness that wouldn't leave me sugar high and finally I found it.
If I was physically present to narrate this recipe to you , you would have caught me mouthwatering so badly. Oh god, I need to make it again soon to calm down my craving that hit me right now. All I have to say is, try it and you would love it. I bet.

Ingredients
- 5 ounces of semisweet chocolate, chopped into small pieces
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- 2 tbsp of cocoa powder
- 1 cup of granulated white sugar
- 3 large eggs @ room temperature
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup of all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp of salt
Method
- Grease a 8 inch square pan with butter and line it with parchment paper.
- Mix the all purpose flour and salt and keep it aside.
- In a heat proof bowl, take the chocolate and butter and melt it by placing it on a pan of simmering water.
- Once the chocolate and butter has melted, remove it from the heat and add the cocoa powder and sugar to it and whisk it well.
- Add the vanilla extract to it and mix it. Now add in the eggs one after the other while you whisk it.
- Add the flour mixture to it. Whisk it well , untill all the ingredients combine together.
- Pour it into the greased pan and bake it the oven @ 350 F with the rack placed in the center of the oven. Bake it for about 25-30 minutes or untill a toothpick inserted comes out with few crumbs of the brownie attached to it.
- Remove it from the oven and let it cool completely. Slice and serve.
Tips
- Do not over bake the brownies. Toothpick testing standards differs in the case of brownies. They wouldn't come out clean but with few crumbs of brownie clinging to it. That is what decides the making of perfect brownies.
