If you are looking for easy grilling recipe, both in marination as well as cooking, then this is one keeper. Very basic ingredients are needed for its marination. Plus, its healthy too. Include these grilled chicken in your wraps or as sides - they are superb either way.
Ingredients
- 1 chicken breast, weighing about 1 pound
- 1 1/2 tsp of lemon juice
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp of chopped parsley leaves
- 1/2 tsp of oregano
- 1 tsp of paprika powder
- 1/2 tsp of pepper powder
- 1-2 garlic cloves, crushed and finely chopped
- Salt to taste
Method
- Slit the chicken breast into half horizontally into two sheets of chicken breast. Poke it with a fork all over, for the marination to get through.
- In a bowl, take the ingredients 2-9. Mix it all well. Spread the marinate all over the chicken breast. Keep the marinated chicken breast in the fridge for about an hour or overnight.
- Heat up the grill and grill it for 5-6 minutes on each side or untill they are cooked through.
- Remove it from the grill, and let it stand for couple of minutes. Then slice them down into pieces and serve.
Tips
- If you do not have a grill, you can alternatively do it in the oven too. Preheat the oven to 400F. Bake it for about 30 minutes and 10 minutes after flipping. Broiling it for the last 5 minute would help bring about the charred effect.
