Nothing like a hot tea to drive away the tiredness and bring about a fresh feeling. If the tea is flavorful then it is a bonus. It is rightly said that a lot can happen over a cup of coffee. It stands so true for tea too . Because this very blog started, as a result of the teatime conversation between me and my husband.

Tips
This ginger tea is perfect for a cold evening esp. if you are down with sore throat, then it does the job of healing it as well.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 cup of water
- 1 tsp of tea leaves
- 1 inch ginger, peeled and crushed
- Sugar to taste
- In a pan , take the milk, water, ginger and sugar. Boil it.
- Once the milk starts to boil, add the tea leaves and reduce the flame to low. Let it boil for about 10 sec.
- Remove it from the heat and strain it .
- Serve it hot with some biscuits.
Tips
- You could add sugar later if the people you would be serving would need different amount or no sugar at all.
- I don't usually drink a very strong tea. If you prefer strong tea, you would have to boil it a little longer.
